Future Outings
As the coach Outing to Deal on 19 June 2025 is now completed, there are no further Outings planned.
Denise and Ian have now stood down from the Outings roles.
On behalf of all members we would like to thank Denise and Ian for their ceaseless work on the outings from researching destinations, booking and managing the Outing on the day. With the diversity of members interests and capability that is not easy. Thank you.

IT'S TIME FOR MEMBERS TO STEP UP!
Aims
Our aim is to make our outings as enjoyable and varied as possible, with consideration to learning, fun and friendship whilst keeping the costs affordable.
Sometimes we have late cancellations in which case you may receive a call if your name is on the waiting list, so do not give up if you think the list is full, you may still have a chance. It is sometimes worth contacting me to check.
If you find that you are unable to keep a booking you have made let me know, as it will free the place for someone else. Remember to write what you are paying for on the back of your cheques and, if you have them ready at the general meeting, it will speed things up.
Important Notices
When booking a place on any activity, your place is not guaranteed until you have paid in full and you have received your ticket. If you have not paid in full by the specified date, your place may be given to another person. Please note that in future we will not be taking deposits for outings. The full payment will be due at the time specified for the specific outing.
All travellers MUST be Benfleet u3a members. If seats remain unsold they will be offered to other local u3as only.
Pick-up and drop-off points will in future be Victoria House Corner, Kenneth/Kiln Road Junction, Kents Hill Road, Tarpots, (Romsey Road), and Pitsea.
Due to the road changes around Basildon Town Centre there will be no pick-up/drop-off in Basildon. The coach company has found that the road changes and the location, relative to some routes, can add more than twenty minutes to both pick-up and drop-off. The last pick-up and first drop-off will be Pitsea.
Please advise Outings Organiser of any dietary/allergy requirements when booking.
Photographs: will be taken by members on outings and may be used in our Bulletin and website. If you do NOT wish any photos of you to be included please advise Outings Organiser when booking.
