This month, without a specific venue or activity organised, we set a personal challenge for BOATS. Any boat, any condition, any situation, any location, any interpreation. Members to use their imagination and inventiveness to explore Boats.
Given that we have Benfleet Creek, Canvey Island, Leigh on Sea, Two Tree Island, Southend on Sea, Hullbridge and Wat Tyler marina in reasonable proximity – as well as all the large ships on the Thames – maybe this was one of our easier challenges.
Our thanks to Marion, Mavis, SueQ, Terri, Jill, Ken, Jeff, Ray, Mike and Terry and me for rising to the challenge.
And, commendation to Terry, for the most novel ‘boat’ of the day.
Best wishes, Alan
