Visit to Hadleigh Castle for the 'Sunset'
A small group of the photography members journeyed to Hadleigh Castle in the hope that we would capture a sunset. We were fortunate that it was not raining and underfoot was relatively dry considering the downpours we had been having.
Regrettably, there was no sunshine but we all made the best of the situation. It seemed to take ages for the evening to get darker but we were hoping perhaps for a good cloud photograph. It is a very historic place to visit with reaching views across the estuary. Standing in the ruins felt very calming and you could just imagine the ancient footfall gone before us.
The cold winds swept in so we decided to head for home feeling rather despondent as no sunset pictures were produced.
Best wishes, Sue Quattrucci
PS: a late submission with yes...SUNSETs taken on 27 October. Well done Jeff.
