Please contact Linda Aldridge at French Beginners webmail to go onto a waiting list. With 3-4 people waiting the Interest Groups Coordinator will be asked to form another group - will require 1 or 2 waiting members to become the Group Contact(s).

We work from a very basic level, i.e. it is NOT essential to have any previous knowledge of French. We aim to focus on basic conversation and to understand simple activities in French i.e. to order a cup of coffee or breakfast; read signs, menus, directions; find out where the shops are. We have been meeting for two years now and are starting to have a good knowledge of the French language and numbers. Maison, maison is one of our favourite games.

This is very useful when travelling through or holidaying in France.
