What we do
The new Group, whose tongue-in-cheek name is: ”Knights and afternoons of the round table” meets once a month. We discuss two items per session, agreeing which these will be between us.

Tolerance and respect are at the heart of our meetings as we approach topics from different perspectives, different political persuasions and different backgrounds. We have considered whether vaccination should be mandatory, whether voting should be obligatory in elections and what do we consider to be toxic in society. We have also mulled over the question of whether there is a place for grammar school education and it was fascinating to hear about how the education system works in the Netherlands.

Although we take on serious topics, there is plenty of room for laughter and a light-hearted approach as well. The group is deliberately small, but we would be happy to take on a couple of extra folk if anybody else wishes to join us.
