Just a few photos of the walk from Limehouse Station to The Yurt Cafe ,next door to station, which is always a welcoming haven with the log fire and delicious pastries. 

From there it started to rain and never stopped until we had walked to Canary Wharf and followed the Thames Path on the west side of Isle of Dogs along to Millwall Dock and then the animal farm at Mudchute Park where most of the animals were sensibly tucked up in their pens/stables. From there we walked back to Wetherspoons The Ledger for lunch. 

After the meal,as the Winter Lights were not going to be switched on until 5pm, 6 of the group of twelve felt very wet and decided to return home whilst the remaining 6 stayed on.

By 5pm the rain had stopped so the remainers started the walk which this year was very much more regimented with guides directing you through "Post Office type queues" to view .Overall not as good as previous years as a lot were designed by AI ,probably to reduce costs but half way round the route we decided to call it a day and probably not return .

Despite the rain the company was great as usual.
