High Jinx at the Play Reading group!

Anyone for tennis?

I run two Play Reading groups, one on a Tuesday morning and the other in the afternoon of the second Tuesday of each month.
We have an enormous amount of fun and there is much laughter. I select amusing plays because heaven knows we could all do with laughter in our lives!
Quite a few of the scripts we attempt require different accents: American, West Country, Irish, Welsh etc and we bravely take these on with varying degrees of success and accuracy.

Best of all is when we start off in one accent and then find ourselves lapsing into something quite different….. or when we become confused as to which character we are supposed to be playing and start reading other people’s parts! A very amusing script then becomes even more hilarious thanks to our shenanigans.
You will see from these photographs that I always have a cupboard full of props which adds to the entertainment!
I am sorry our group is currently full but a few people on a waiting list may be able to start a new group.
