The Naval and Military History Group has been running for a number of years. We meet on the third Thursday of every month. I will give a talk or perhaps record a programme from the TV which I felt the group would be interested in.
We discuss particular military conflicts, and strategies etc and have occasional presentations. Also members contribute with information they would like to share with everyone. Some of us have been in the Navy and other Forces so we have knowledge of what the history is about.
We have been out on visits but currently nothing in the pipeline at the moment.
We are a mixed bunch of ladies and gents and enjoy tea and cakes after our discussions when we put the World to rights!

Regrettably, our Group is full as space is limited where we meet but please get in touch if you would like to join a waiting list and maybe a new Group can be formed.
