A few photos of our walk yesterday from Southend Central station to the Old Garrison pub in Shoeburyness.

23 people walked with lovely sunshine all day but a very bracing Easterly wind along the seafront.

We began with a refreshment /toilet stop at the Wetherspoons Last Post opposite the station . From there we took in some of the amazing murals scattered around the city and then along the seafront to Shoeburyness. Although the walk was just under 5 miles a few people thought it felt like more due to the strong headwind along the estuary.
