WALKING OVER 5 MILES: Thursday 22 May 2025;
Visit to South Woodham Ferrers
Today's walk at South Woodham Ferrers was led by Linda Burdett. 16 members met at Compass Park at 11.00am.
From there we walked to Saltcoats park and along the creeks off of the River Crouch. From there we could see North Fambridge Marina with Hullbridge on the opposite side of the river.
The weather was cloudy but dry and the walk was on flat paths and made a pleasant change of scenery. So well done Linda. We had lunch at the Town Crier pub in the town and ended an enjoyable day .
