DRAWING AND PAINTING: April 2025; Characters in a book
- Mags did not quite have the time to finish her Mad Hatter but I persuaded her to present it anyway.
- Estelle's 2 snow queens - one was coloured pencils and the other Estelle did as a monoprint, using inks. This is a process in itself where you make a light sketch and roller the ink rather than using a paint brush, and see what comes out at the end!
- Hairy Mcleary was one of Teresa's favourite children's books.
- I used watercolour pencils for Romeo and Juliet, water colour paints for Jemima and Town Like Alice - my favourite book and TV series with Bryan Brown !
- Susan drew two lovely characters great pictures and attention to detail.
- There is such a wide range of characters to chose from but I hope you like the selection here.
