Fifteen members met at Heybridge Basin for a walk along the Blackwater estuary until it met the Chelmer and Blackwater Canal in Maldon, which we returned on back to Heybridge Basin for lunch at the Jolly Sailor.

Although some rain had been forecast we were fortunate to miss it during our walk which was a largely flat walk .The distance was around 4 miles but in pretty windy conditions.
